Our mission, goal, and job is to help you improve your life. To find joy. There is a significant difference between joy and happiness. Happiness is external. It is the things around you that make you happy. We can’t help you with that as much as we can help you find joy. Joy is internal. It is inner confidence...the belief in yourself and your life that allows you to attack each day, good or bad, with the same gusto and enthusiasm. It allows you to reach your own potential, or as the author Paulo Coelho wrote in his book “The Alchemist”, live your own Personal Legend…the life you want and have always wanted for yourself.
The vessel we use to help you achieve this is a business. By definition is must be profit-making, but know that we are not some soulless multi-national corporation that only cares about shareholder value. We care about helping our customers...from top to bottom. That means all of our policies are built around making your life easier, not harder. We know that if you try the program, you will learn a new set of tools that will have a significant impact on your life and finding the joy in it. We know how much benefit can be gained by using the additional services we offer to help you on your journey to joy, and we want to enable it. Yes, we have to charge for the program, but we know we have made the cost extremely reasonable for the value our services offer. We also know that life has many turns and bumps that challenge us.
Is this program good for everyone?
No. The program will not work for everyone. But it has and does tremendous good for the vast majority of people. The reality is that very few people are naturally gifted with the ability to work through all of the challenges they face. Most of us struggle with them in one form or another. It might be those two to three days a month when stress gets the best of us...for others a fully, debilitating depression that saps the life from them. We estimate that more than 95% of the people that try the program have changed their lives for the better…so the odds are in your favor that this is for you. It is for the 5% that we have the return policy we offer. The last thing we want is for you to buy they program, realize it’s not for you, and then have it sit on your shelf, or in a box in a closet as a reminder of another decision that didn’t go as planned. Frankly, we’d rather get it back, refurbish it, and share it with someone that it can help. And yes, the program takes commitment and work. Think of it as school for life. You need to go to class to learn. This class will be in your home, your car, while you exercise, or anywhere you like. It’s easy, comforting, and valuable. But you need to have those classes for work. Just setting it on your shelf will not make it work. We think you’re ready for it to work. Go for it! Give it a try. You’ve got nothing to lose and so much to gain.

What can I expect from my Personal Coaching Session?
We have a team of experienced coaches that will walk you through the first section of the Program. They will give you insight and advice as to how best to leverage the value of the program for the greatest gain. They will work with you to help you understand which of the sessions will be most valuable for you, based on your personal situation. They are there to help you. For many this is the most important part of the program because it allows you to talk to an expert and find the best way to get the most from the program. You may, after the first call, elect to schedule more sessions. You will have to pay for them, but we have made it as easy and inexpensive as possible. Best of all, we do them at your convenience, on your schedule, and you don’t need to travel to do them. We are here for you.
What is the Help and Hope Hotline:
This is a service that you can call to ask a quick question, to spend a few minutes talking about how the program might be used to deal with a challenge you face, or just to receive some re-affirming words from someone that cares about you. If you have purchased the program that includes The Help and Hope Hotline it is no charge for the first month. You may choose to continue your subscription (many of our customers do this for several years) as it gives you a person to speak with that can help you apply the program to the challenge you immediately face and help you get through it. You can reach us via email at email@example.com
Who are the Coaches and Hotline Staff:
They are people, just like you. Yes, they have been trained on our program; but they are not professional, licensed therapists. They are there to listen and help you apply the program to the challenge you face. Not every situation can be solved by the program. If you are suicidal then you should call the Suicide Hotline: 1 (800) 273-8255. If you are experiencing very intense feelings, emotions or situations we recommend you speak with a therapist. If you are experiencing a medical emergency we suggest you call: 911.
What do I get with the program?
You will receive:
1 Personal Coaching Session:
**This is included only with the deluxe program found on Amazon. It is not included in every program. Our coaches have successfully completed the program by applying the concepts in their own lives. Just a phone call away, they are here to provide you with the encouragement, guidance and support you need to get started on the program.

What is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy?
CBT is a therapeutic approach that integrates cognitive (thought) restructuring and behavior modification techniques; it is the foundation on which the Attacking Anxiety and Depression program was formulated. Essentially, CBT is about reprogramming habits. If you can change the way you think and act, you can to create a better and more balanced life experience.
Cognitive Restructuring: You will learn to recognize negative thinking patterns that influence feelings and behavior. Typical negative thinking patterns may include:
Distorted concept of self and ability
Pessimistic attitude and assumptions
Negative or scary thoughts
When you recognize that certain thoughts produce unpleasant emotional consequences, and you are given a new, healthier way to think and respond within that same environment, you will be empowered to choose that new way of thinking because it will produce a more pleasant life-experience.
Behavior Modification: The program will help you focus on changing unhealthy or unwanted behaviors that reinforce our negative thinking patterns. Behavioral strategies are used for coping with a wide range of human behaviors including procrastination, anger, or self-medicating with food, alcohol or other substances.
We leverage CBT-based methodology in our program because it is a tested and proven treatment for anxiety and depression:
There are no dangerous or unpleasant side effects
The long-term effects of CBT treatment are lasting and fulfilling.

What should I do if technical issues prevent me from using the Chat feature?
In order to successfully use chat, the following conditions need to be met:
The user's browser must be able to accept/store persistent cookies.
The user's browser should have the latest version of Flash installed. Not just Flash, but the latest version.
The user's internet connection should have access to port 8080.
The user's internet connection should not have a high degree of latency. (Such as the latency that comes with a satellite connection).
The port issue is often missed. If the user is trying to connect from work, it's possible that their IT department has closed port 8080. A home firewall may do the same thing.
If the user is positive that the above conditions are met, we have the following troubleshooting steps that may help:
Clear your Browser Cache
Close then Re Open the Browser
Re-Log into the site and try to log into chat
If the above do not help, Re-Install the Flash client for the browser. This will ensure the latest version is running.
If that doesn't work, try bypassing any firewalls that are set up on the computer.
How do I report someone who is being offensive or verbally abusive?
